Irregular verbs are verbs which do not follow the regular form for the past simple and past participle. ‘Walked’ or ‘played’ are regular, ‘taken’ is irregular.
BrE stands for British English, AmE for American English. Some of the verb forms are different in the two versions of English.
These are the levels of English according to the European Common Framework for languages.
A1 – Beginner
A2 – Elementary
B1 – Pre-intermediate
B2 – Intermediate
C1 – Advanced
Usually, even if someone is at a higher level, it’s still a good idea to practice verbs from the lower levels, as it’s easy to make a mistake!
